MyTunesRSS and the PSP...

Enjoy all the songs in your iTunes music library on any device that has network access to your iTunes computer.  The guys at Codeware Software have put together a nice little RSS server that you can use to stream your iTunes to your PSP.

The server application uses Java 1.5 on the PC or Mac that is storing your iTunes library.  Once you've launched the application, all you have to do is locate your iTunes Music Library.xml file and click the "Start Server" button.  Once the server is running it will show you the http address you enter into the PSP web browser.

Overall, the interface is very clean and easy to use. and the web page layout is nicely formatted.  This application is offered, for free...but, if you find it useful I suggest you visit their "Donate thru PayPal" link.

Our Flash-based Chat client is ready...

Well, it took a shoe-horn and a good deal of code trimming, but we did it...we got a full-featured Flash-based Chat room to load into the PSP browser.

As the screenshot shows, it's a visually friendly layout, and if you click on a person's name a private message window appears at the top...yes, you can send private messages to each other.

It's still not perfect...you have to use that "lovely" PSP cell-phone keyboard at the moment.  But, we are working on the code for a Flash-based on-screen keyboard.

So, you can get to the chat room from either the full-size Net4PSP.com navigation bar, or from your PSP on Net4PSP.com home page.

Remember to give the Net4PSP.com Portal a try from your Sony PSP.

An important note: Accessing net4psp.com from your Sony PSP will present the PSP Portal site. You can still access the PSP formatted home page from you PC by clicking here.
