Sony Releases Firmware 2.71 via Network Update...
The release notes list the following as the changes:
- Game demos can now be downloaded from the Browser and saved on the MS
-
Video output can now be displayed correctly when an external tuner is selected in
Location Free Player.
A quick check of the Official PSP Browser homepage didn't revel any clues of where we get these demos...stay tuned to be amazed.
Download Link for those without a wireless router.
UPDATE 1: OK, the demos via the browser works like this:
You go to a website, like the Japanese LocoRoco site, you work your way to the
download demo link. When you click on the download demo link you will see
a "Please wait" message, than you will be asked you'd like to download the demo.
Click yes will start the download of the EBOOT.PBP without prompting you for the
download location. Once the download is complete exit the browser and go
to the Games/Memory Stick menu and you will see your freshly downloaded demo.
So, here's a link to check the process out. The page is in Japanese, just scroll down to the first "Download" button...the word "Download" is in English.
